Smokin'

Brian has wanted a smoker for a long time. A few years ago we got a cheap electric model that didn't work out at all, primarily because there was no way to regulate the temperature. We have a friend who built an awesome smokehouse, so for a while there was talk of us building something too. But that never happened.

Instead we invested in a larger, thermostatically controlled smoker. It requires very little human attention during the smoking process and uses a surprisingly small amount of wood. We tested it out over the last week by smoking some paprika and jalapeno peppers and a whole chicken. So far it's all good. Next big smoked project will be bacon! Mmm...bacon.
