Company

My parents brought my niece and nephew for a visit last weekend. We had a blast and I hope my brother and his wife enjoyed their "vacation". Vacation in quotes because while they did get a few days to themselves, they were still taking care of the family dairy farm during that time, so most people wouldn't really call that a vacation. Even though she was on the vacation trip, Mom didn't have much time for relaxation either. She was busily sewing my gown for my sister's wedding in September.

Eliza learned how to play the guitar and practiced her piano lessons.

We had a cook-out complete with hot dogs, s'mores, and catching fireflies.

Helping Uncle Brian feed the chickens.

Eric, Papa, Uncle Brian, and Eliza.

After feeding each group, we danced their dance. This is the chicken dance. Bok, bok, bok!

Checking on the pigs.

Hey pigs, please don't eat me.

Riding on the four-wheeler was a lot of fun!

The pig dance. I don't really know how to spell these sounds... so you'll have to settle for oink!

Feeding carrots to the rams. Tony (llama) and Bruce weren't interested, but Thorne really liked the treat. I didn't get a picture of us saying baa-bye to the sheep.

Come again soon guys! We love you!
